Academics

Our curriculum standards are carefully aligned with the State of Michigan which designated Lake Hills an overall "A" for our student achievement, performance, and progress. In addition to instruction in English language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies, we also provide physical education classes, music, band, orchestra, and art classes.

Enrollment

We enroll students throughout the year primarily from North Ottawa and Muskegon counties. Lake Hills is one of seven elementary schools in the Grand Haven Area Public Schools district. If you wish to enroll your child at Lake Hills, please contact the school office at 616-850-5600. You may also download a student enrollment form.

School Boundaries

In Grand Haven, elementary-aged students are assigned to their neighborhood school. Parents do have the option to request a different school; however, there is an application process, and openings are based on available space. You may view an interactive boundary map to see if you live in the Lake Hills attendance area.

Parent/Teacher Conferences

Communication with parents or guardians is an essential for students' growth and learning. Along with an orientation in the fall, conferences with teachers are scheduled in October and February. Student report cards are distributed in October, March, and June.

Northshore PTA
