Through the cooperative effort of our families, the Northshore PTA is able to raise an amazing amount of money for our school. Please read through this list of various ways your family can help through the following coupon, rebate, and recycling programs.

General Mills Box Tops

Box Tops for Education is a terrific program run by General Mills. For each box top we send to them, they send us $0.10. It's that simple! Box Tops are found on hundreds of participating General Mills products throughout the grocery store. Watch for these brands: General Mills Cereals, Pillsbury, Yoplait, Betty Crocker Bake Mixes, Old El Paso, Progresso Soups, Green Giant, and Totino's Pizza as well as others. Just clip out the Box Top For Education symbols on the dotted lines and send them to school.

Leppinks

If you choose to shop at Leppinks Food Center on Lake Hills Night, a generous percentage of your total purchase amount will be donated to Lake Hills. Come, enjoy the refreshments and see many of your favorite Lake Hills faculty as they bag your groceries. We appreciate the partnership we share with Leppinks and we will announce this annual event well in advance.

Meijer

It is very easy to participate in the Meijer Community Rewards program. First, get a Community Rewards card and then simply have your Meijer Guest Card scanned whenever you shop at Meijer. It is easy and free to get a Community Rewards Card. It can be done on of three ways:

Online at Meijer Community Rewards
In the store by applying for a Meijer Credit Card
By mailing an application (available in the school office) to Meijer.

If you already have a Meijer Credit Card, just call 1-800-962-7011 to have them add Meijer Community Rewards to your account. Our school number is 169083. We will automatically receive a percentage of your purchase totals. These can really add up quickly so join us soon!

We recycle Meijer plastic grocery bags for a profit as well. However, Meijer bags are the only bags that are accepted so please only send in those.

Recycled Technology

The school can earn money and prizes if you would please bring your old cell phones, laser and inkjet printer cartridges, laptops, PDAs, iPods, DVD’s, cameras, video games, and game systems to school. Please send the items in its original packaging, or plastic or paper bag with your child’s and teacher’s name on the package. Also, if you are business owner or know a business that would like to help, we will pick up their cartridges. For more info, call Tammy Davison at 616-842-8951.

Dominos Pizza

We have two programs with Dominos. The first is our monthly Dominos Pizza Night. The third Wednesday of the month, if you order a pizza and give the driver the filled out sheet that comes home with your child, our school receives $2 per pizza paid for (we don't get it on the free pizza of a buy one get one free offer).

Our second program is saving Domino Dots. On one of the flaps of the Dominos box there is a red square that is the proof of purchase, rip the flap off and send it in to your child's teacher. When 150 have been collected, the teacher can order a pizza party for the class.

Target

If you shop at Target, you may consider getting a Target credit card. You tell them which school you are supporting and then a portion of what you charge is given back to the school.
